When we visited this place for the first time, we couldn’t believe our eyes, it’s so enchanting!
At the end of a winding track that crosses a small, ancient stone bridge, you come to an old abandoned mill in the valley.

From there, we had to trudge along the river, completely off the beaten track, between huge rocks until we reached a footbridge in the form of a fallen tree trunk, which allowed us to cross to the other side where the ground and floor had been carefully prepared by the owner to accommodate the yurt.
With no vehicle access and completely hidden in the forest, the location perfectly meets the requirements of someone seeking absolute peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of a hectic society.
Indeed, apart from the sound of water and birdsong, nothing can be heard in this protective screen of greenery.
This location “at the end of the world” is the perfect example of where all the advantages of the yurt in terms of lightness come into their own.

All the structural elements that make up a yurt, such as poles, doors and windows, latticework, canvas, insulation, and even the removable floor, can be transported individually and without great difficulty to even the most remote locations. In a spirit of joy and happiness, all the elements of the yurt are carried in a collective effort resulting from mutual assistance between neighbors and friends.
Here, we appreciate the clear advantage of this ingenious dwelling compared to trailers, tiny houses, or other mobile homes, which require a drivable access road.
